Michael Agnew
General Manager, Solution Centres
Michael Agnew is the General Manager for SunGard Higher Education Solution Centres. These are International development groups dedicated to providing local and regional customer solutions – chiefly comprising regulatory and language product offerings.
Mike’s ten years with SunGard HE (formerly SCT) began in the UK as Development Manager. He expanded with implementations of the Banner product into the Dutch market and then transferred to the Netherlands to establish the Language Centre, focusing on internationalisation and translation services. Subsequently Mike became Director of the International network of Solution Centres.
Prior to SunGard HE, Mike gathered a wealth of international business experience as both a Project Manager and Software Development Manager with roles in Norway, United Kingdom, Germany and Ireland. This international travel has not only taken him to many countries, but also taught him a number of languages along the way.
Mike has a BSc. Computer Science (Honours) from the University of Strathclyde and an MBA (Merit) NIMBAS/University of Bradford which he received in 2004.
